1. briefly describe geiger counter?

2. a. what is background radiation?
b. How can u detect background radiation?

3. how will you count the true rate of emission from a radioactive source by geiger counter?

the most comon type of radiation detector is geiger-mueller(GM)tube also called a geiger counter...well kanika i dint get ne other answer for it...

hey kanika!!i told u na ki a geiger counter is n intrument used 2 measure d amount of background radiations...c hari 2 in his post has written dis...n search it on google u will find dis only...n no need of goin in2 details of it....
