| as a ballon rises up its KE and PE both increase does this violate the law of conservation of energy |

| actually its gravitational potential energy is decreased ON RISING UP gravitational potential energy = -GmM/R m is its mass M is earth's mass here and R is distance from earth's centre. G is universal gravitation constant. this gravitational potential energy gets converted into kinetic energy gravitational constant = 6.67300 × 10-11 m3 kg-1 s-2 it may sound strange to you now but it will become more clear in 11th negative potential energy indicate bound stage if u give this much energy to body then it will go to infinity(out of earth's grav. field/will leave earth).Such min velocity given to body is escape velpcity.
