to siya and vaishnavi: we surely have to round off the amount to nearest 10th

to tanu and siya: whichever day of a month the account is closed, you wont consider the min balance for that month

Latent heat of Vaporization of a body is the amount of heat required to change the state of the body from liquid to gas. if it is speficic latent heat, write amount of heat required by unit mass of a substance....thts all!!

Formula: same as that of fusion- L=Amount of heat required(Q)/mass(m)

is L is the latent heat of vaporiz. of a substance, the amount f heat required by m mass os substance to change it to gaseous state = mL.

Latent heat of steam=2260000J/kg or 2268000j/kg(approx)

if the account is closed on jan 31st, the min balance between 10yh n 31st is 0,so should we consider that

Imp points, acc. to me:

1) we should round of to the tens only if asked...n this is what the previous year frnds also told me...

now, where is abhas???? what did he do last year??? Wink

2) the minimum balance is 0 for the month when the account was oppened/closed . THIS IS CONFIRMED..ambili is right.

all answers in banking are accepted, whether rounded off, or without rounding off.since there is confusion about the very process of rounding off:
1) old method -pre computer era banks; round off 163 to 16o 165 to 160 and 166 to 170.
2)new method: with computer: roundoff 163 to 160 and both 165 and 166 to 170
so board accepts all-- rounding off with old method,rounding off with new method and answers calculated without rounding off minimum balance .
so chill.

minimum balance for the month, when account is opened on or before 10th of the month, cannot be zero.
its always zero for the month in which account is closed--any day--as minimum balance on the day of closing becomes nil.
howevr tht shud nt be confused with the calculation of interest for say jan to jul-- thn both months are included--as no mention of closing or opening th account there.
