IIST Admission Test - ISAT 2010 - notification

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram
will be conducting an admission test for its BTech Programmes in Aerospace
Engineering,Avionics and Physical Sciences. Seat reservation in our admission conforms
with Central Government reservation policy. The details of the test, the
admission process, and instructions on how to apply, will appear in news
papers and on this webpage soon.

IIST admission test will be similar to other all India engineering
entrance tests. Questions will be of the objective type and there will be
two sessions of two hours duration each. It will be based mainly on the
CBSE Syllabus of 11^th and 12^th standards for Physics, Chemistry, and
Mathematics. The test will be conducted in the third weekend of April,
2010 in several centers across the country.

The total number of seats for all the Undergraduate programmes in IIST for the academic year 2010-11 is 156. The seat matrix for different programmes are as follows: B Tech in Aerospace Engineering: 52; B Tech in Avionics: 65; B Tech in Physical Sciences: 39. Reservation to different categories will be governed by Govt. of India Rules.
