first..soil...only alluvial,laterite,red and black soils in syllabus

laterite in north...its near assam..where tea plantation is done

minerals- i have confirmed it...only iron ore, petroleum oil refineries and oil wells-offshore and onshore, and then coal mines...are in syllabus

hari..no laterite is near western ghats not easter ghats...and yeah..you have marked it right..you can extend it to kerala too.

in agriculture...i am not sure..that spices are there..i have not done it...and, the most imp is cotton rice wheat sugarcane, rubber jute....but, lets be on the safer side!

btw..they will ask questions like-mark an area in east(or west or south) where rice is grown..

if they ask us to mark a state where black soil is found, should we outline the whole state and colour it or just put a mark in the state?

or else ya i remember our teacher hd told dat if we hv 2 mark a state den we can mark it wid a red dot(i guess)

no need exact boundries......just the area is enough...they wont luk for boundries...just the area.......
