| yes
"Otoliths are small particles, composed of a combination of a gelatinous matrix and calcium carbonate in the viscous fluid of the saccule and utricle."
chek out wiki article (although i must say that they are not always correct)

| Oestrogen:
- Responsible for female sex organs and secondary
characteristics e.g. bodily hair and breast development.
- Promotes the growth of the endometrium (lining of the
uterus).
- Causes the moving of the fallopian tube towards the small
fluid-filled formation within the ovary that contains the developing egg (follicle).

| Progesterone:
- Mainly responsible for preparing the body for pregnancy.
- Progesterone (together with prolactin) stimulate the
breasts in preparation for milk production.
- Unlike oestrogen, progesterone causes thickening of the
cervical mucus, and in so doing makes it more difficult for sperm to penetrate.
- Tends to result in a loss of water from the body, due to
the loss of salt.
- Natural progesterone is destroyed in the stomach, and can
therefore not be taken orally.
- Progestogens are a synthetic form of the female sex
hormone progesterone.
