| hey guyzz... can nyone solve dis prob for me plzz...
a man invested Rs.45000in 15% Rs100 shares quoted at Rs125 when the market value of dese share rose to Rs140,he sold some shares just enough to raise Rs8400.Calculate i.no of shares he still holds ii.the dividend due to him on dese remaining shares...

| i m not sure that i have done it correctly or not but i wanted to share this with u. no. of shares bought=45000/125=360 shares. shares sold(if i m not wrong..)=8400/140=60 shares hence (i)shares left =360-60=300 share ans. & (II)div.=(300X100X15)/100 =Rs.4500 ans. |
