Antony refers to Caesar' assasination (fall) on the ides of March by the conspirators led by Brutus and Casisus. Caesar when struck down by the conspirators fell at the feet of Pompey's statue in the Forum. Antony uses the 'fall' as a metaphor.Antony, trying to win over the commoners, asserts that the death of Caesar was a great loss to all the Romans and it is a loss that affect one and all. Wait a bit for the other answers. Let me see your comments.

| Struck = Deliver a sharp blow, as with the hand, fist, or weapon. And please do not patronise. Answer to the point. I think all the points are there. I will surelly get 3out of 3; because I know the intricate workings of the valuation procedure. Look before you leap:lol!: |

| ans 2.the citizens stayed behind because brutus had asked them to do so. Antony repels their suspicion by saying that he had come there to bury caesar and not to praise him |
