| habeas-corpus:it means 'to have a body' by issuing such a writ,the court can get the body of a person released if it has been unlawfully captured by any person,a grp of person or by the state certiorari:this writ is issued by a superioe court to the judicial court or quasi-judicial authority to quash its order or decision |

| jony,a writ is an order frm a judicial authority askin a person 2 perform some act or refrain frm an act.it may b issued for government officials 2.a writ is overall a power of supreme court by which it can protect d rights of a person :cheers: :cheers: |

| now the others: mandamus:it literally means'we command' its a command 4rm a superior court to subordinate court or an administrative authority in case thry refuse to exercise their jurisdiction n fail 2 perform their duty anything more??????????? |

| well kanika..appellate jurisdiction is the jurisdiction of a court over those cases which are not brought to its referral in the first instance but after being heard in a subordinate court. |

| well kanika..federal system essentially means that India is a union of states with the centre at its head. it also means that india is a sovereign state wherein the centre has the control over the state administration. |
