| i think its an embankment at the lower part(only very little)
but there is no river island in9781...its in9881...morover apurva..the question was bout bank.... |

| RF means Representative Fraction
it is the ratio of the unit distance on the map to the unit distance on ground
For our topsheet it is 1:50000 ....................... |

| I think the special feature of the river has to be THE CONFLUENCE of the two rivers.
(i.e Balaram nadi and banas river). I am pretty sure. |

| nana newbie..the confluence of two rivers is there all right..but it can't be a feature..and it has nothing to do with the bank...
embankment can be one of the options..as hari rightly said...n another possibility is the CARTTRACK which is built across the river. |
