plzz giv me the answers to these questions..
came in our preboardz..
1)What is 'Lok Adalat'?

2)How is the judge of a district court appointed? Question

3)What is a writ? Question

4)Mention one advisory function of the HIgh Court. Question

1) Lok adalat is the people's court whose members are the retired judges of the high court and reputed teachers of law. It is set up for speedy justice and for the poor people who cannot afford much money.

2) by the governor after consulting the high court judges

3) writ is a petition or a written notice issued by a high court or the supreme court to a person or an organization, to tell them to do their work properly and to avoid illegal arrests.

eg. Habeas Corpus, mandamas, certiorary, etc

4) It advises the governor regarding legal matters whenever it is asked by him to do so.

heehehehe....i knew my history answers wont be correct....but, i dont have the theosophical society info in my text......i think the second one is cold war, for sure....what other war do we have in our syllabus which is a war f nerves? 1st WW? 2nd WW? Neutral

someone told me that it is the morrocan crisis..but i am absolutely clueless. confused

the name itself gives the hint..it has to be an event full of tension..that's where the cold war comes into play...but u know..i got a zero Sad

it is the cold war
the bay of pigs incident was the stationing of missle launchers by russia on the bay of pigs in cuba, since it made usa an easier target if a nuclear war started.
however usa blocked the path of russian naval ships and the presidents reagen and kruschev talked the matter out
later on usa invaded the same bay and created a base that later became a high profile and quarantine prison off the coast of usa known as guantanmo bay
the same prison is being closed down next year

jus note down some important years and dates in a paper and try linking wth the happenings
study

hey just try reading the main parts of each chapter and write down significant dates and events its gonna help a lot............... drunken

try to use diff. coloured sketch pens they will help U in remembering things very well
