| the best way to learn is to understand the matter and then learn it the other thing is that you should relate the matter to something unusual or related to you the sillier the combinations the more your brain can retain it learn by drawing diagrams and symbols rather than text . and of course keep revising it .

| welllllllllllll..........even i used to think alot abt it and waste a lot of time in mugging up d equations.....u jus need 2 understand the basic concept first.should know d 5 stories of an acid and understand the reactions of each metals with diff types of compounds(refer to the activity series).tryyyyyyyyy it!!!!!!!! |

| first thing is not mug up all reaction ,try to catagorise them in groups say action of acids on different compound like carbonates.....,you will find that there is similarity between them, next try to arrange them according to activity series like action of heat on nitrates.. here you try to learn the general trends like in case of nitrates sodium and potassium nitrates forms respective nitrites and oxygen, nirates of elements from calcium to copper forms respective metal oxide, nitogendioxide and oxygen, metal nitrates below copper forms metal ,nitrogen dioxide and oxygen....while preparing jot down exeception ,always remember in board exam generally a trend related reaction are asked ,last but not least please write the reaction while learning, post your quiries iwill try to give you the tips to remember the reaction |

| The only thing..is u hav to UNDERSTAND the thing nicely... try to make note of all functional group...n keep revising it frm time to time.it is veryyyyyyy scoring . |

| in organic chemistry,try 2 compare the reactions.For eg:reaction of chlorine with alkanes and alkenes can be compared.it's quite interesting!!!!!!!!! |
