When Methane and Chlorine reacts, it forms Chloro Methane. What type of reaction is this? Please reply with the answer quickly! Also, when Ethane and Chlorine reacts, it forms Chloro Methane. What type of reaction is this? Please answer these two questions quickly!

for chlorine nd methane it is halogenation...........

it is better to rite halogenation nd not subsitution reaction coz halogenation is a type of subsitution reaction........nd methane is reacting with a halogen ,i.e., chlorine.....
