A drainage pipe (behind the drywall) for my kitchen sink busted and caused damage to the unit below. I contacted my insurance co (USAA) and they said they will not cover the work to fix the pipe behind my wall. In fact, they said they didn't cover any plumbing issues. So my question is, who should pay for the work to fix my pipe? According to the plumber it is not a common pipe, therefore it is my responsibility and not the condo association. Thoughts?
