| Hi,
I am in the process of purchasing a property with my brother. the property has a large paddock at the rear (approximately 1 acre). the value of the property is around 700k. we want to split the titles so that my brother owns the house and i own the paddock at the back.
can we put any value on the titles or is there a specific rule that we should follow? we want to put the the value of the paddock to 200k and the remaining to the house. is there likely to be some objection ?
