| NO.Because magnetic field'll keep changing & the net magnetism'll be 0.The electromagnet'll not get magnetised &d hammer won't hit d gong. |

| it can work, but icse board doesnot accepts that answer. actually ac can be used to change frerquency of ringing the bell--but do not write thi answer fr ur board exam--thtz wht my teacher said. |
