| Let x be the total savings
Dividend of A=(20x*10)/(100*100)
Dividend of B=(30x*10)/(100*100)
Dividend of C=(25x*10)/(100*100)
Total Dividend=(20x*10)/(100*100)+ (30x*10)/(100*100)+ (25x*10)/(100*100)=Rs.4575
=>(200x+360x+375x)/10000=4575
=>(200+360+375)x=4575*10000
=>935x=4575*10000
=>x=Rs.48930
Total saving =Rs.48930
Therefore, the total investment is 75% of the total saving
So total investment =>75/100*48930= Rs.36697.50
So, investment in A=20/75*36697.50= Rs.9786.00
Investment in B=30/75*36697.50=Rs.14679.00
Investment in C=25/75*36697.50=Rs.12232.50

| Let x be the total savings
Dividend of A=(20x*10)/(100*100)
Dividend of B=(30x*10)/(100*100)
Dividend of C=(25x*10)/(100*100)
Total Dividend=(20x*10)/(100*100)+ (30x*10)/(100*100)+ (25x*10)/(100*100)=Rs.4675
=>(200x+360x+375x)/10000=4675
=>(200+360+375)x=4675*10000
=>935x=4675*10000
=>x=Rs.50000 Total saving =Rs.50000 Therefore, the total investment is 75% of the total saving
So total investment =>75/100*50000= Rs.37500 So, investment in A=20/75*37500= Rs.10000 Investment in B=30/75*37500=Rs.15000 Investment in C=25/75*37500=Rs.12500 if nothing is mentioned in the question, => NV= MV CAN BE SAFELY ASSUMED |
