| The instantaneous rate of any reversible reaction is directly proportional to the ratio of conc of products to the reactants raised to their stoichiometric coeff.
For a reactn
aA + bB --> products,
rate = k[A]^a * [B]^b K-- rate constant for rn
for a rn aA + bB <==> cC + dD Rf=Kf [A]^A * [B]^b Rb=Kb [C]^c * [D]^d
At eq, Rf = Rb
so..at that point,... Kf/Kb which is Kc..ur eq constant...
If the partial pressure are taken then it is Kp
Dissosciation constant or 'alpha' is the ratio of the molar conductance to the conducatance at infinite dilution...! |
