| I checked out the new Nootan even there nothings written about chemotrophs . On google it says its a type of sea organism . The maximum link i could get was that these organisms are important as they are the source of the heat-resistant enzyme Taq DNA PolymeraseTaq polymer, one of the most important enzymes in molecular biology because of its use in the polymerase chain reactionPolymerase chain reaction
In molecular biology, the polymerase chain reaction is a technique to amplify a single or few copies of a piece of DNA across several orders of magnitude, generating thousands to millions of copies of a particular DNA sequence...
(PCR) DNA amplification technique. |

| chemotrophs are organisms that derive energy by oxidation of inorganic compounds & use it for life processes. eg: ->Sulphur bacteria (oxidise of sulphur compounds) ->Iron bacteria (oxidise of ferrous compounds) ->Hydrogen bacteria (oxidise of hydrogen to water) ->Nitrifying bacteria (oxidise of ammonia to nitrates) |
