I checked out the new Nootan even there nothings written about chemotrophs . On google it says its a type of sea organism . The maximum link i could get was that these organisms are important as they are the source of the heat-resistant enzyme Taq DNA
PolymeraseTaq
polymer,
one of the most important enzymes in molecular
biology
because of its use in the polymerase
chain reactionPolymerase chain reaction
Old Nootan Polymerase_chain_reaction
In
molecular biology, the polymerase chain reaction is a technique to
amplify a single or few copies of a piece of DNA across several orders
of magnitude, generating thousands to millions of copies of a particular
DNA sequence...

(PCR) DNA amplification technique.

chemotrophs are organisms that derive energy by oxidation
of inorganic compounds & use it for life processes.
eg:
->Sulphur bacteria (oxidise of sulphur compounds)
->Iron bacteria (oxidise of ferrous compounds)
->Hydrogen bacteria (oxidise of hydrogen to water)
->Nitrifying bacteria (oxidise of ammonia to nitrates)
