these r defintions mad up by me...but i think it shud do...
ordinance are temporary laws issued by the president/governor wen d respectiv assembly is not in session..such ordinances issued must b ratified by d assmebly within six weeks after d parliament is in seesion.

writ is an order issued by a judicial authority(suprem cour/high court) for d enforcement of fundamental rights of a citizen..dey may be habeas corpus, mandamus , prohibition,certiorary, quo warranto.,etc.

judicial review: its d power of a judicial authority by wich it can declare laws, ordinances, executv orders null n void if it finds them inconsistent wid d constitution...dats wy the courts r known as d guardian/custodian of d constitution...

militant i think ur rite abt radicals

lord wavell's plan IS given in d scope..his plan:
1. dominion status in d long runx
2. Viceroy's exec council 2 be reconstructed...all indians except Viceroy n Commaner in chief
3.Hindus n muslims at par in Viceroy's council
4. Constitution 2 b draftd by indians
5. Governor general 2 retain veto power

Muslims dint accept coz it believed dat d rite 2 appoint muslims shud b exclusively wid d muslims..but INC said no..it also has hindus..so cong was ready but due 2 muslims d plan was inoperative

a) Any Indian Ruler accepting subsidiary Alliance with the British had to keep British forces within their territory and agreed to pay for their maintenance.
b) In lieu of the payments, some of the ruler's territory was ceded to the British.
c) The rulers accepting it were forced to keep a British official at their court called the Resident.
Under this doctrine, Indian rulers under British protection suspended their native armies, instead maintaining British troops within their states. They surrendered control of their foreign affairs to the British. In return, the East India Company would protect them from the attacks of their rivals.

wavell's plan..(also known as d shimla conference) ... uhm..reason 4 d league not acceptin it..
c...d congress accepted d wavell plan.. league claimed dat it was d only rep. party of muslims in India... thus all d muslim reps in the Viceroy's Executive Council should b the nominees of d party. Congress tried 2 prove dat deir party represented all communities livin in India n thus should be allowed 2 nominate Muslim reps 2. this cozd d deadlock..get it?
