GIVE TWO REASONS WHY CAESAR REJECTED THE REQUEST MADE BY ARTEMIDORUS FOR
READING HIS LETTER .

When Artemidorous entreats that his petition personally concerns Caesar, Caesar refuses to read it saying that he will read what concerns him last.
The Second reason is only conjctural;1. that fate plays an important role in making Caesar reject the suit.
2. Caesar has become a man so confident and authoritaitve that he feels invincible and hence rejects the suit.

there can be two ways in which answer can be given;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
1 caesar is much concerened about the welfare of the people aas artemidorous says that this letter concerns him first
2 he has become to proud and over confident

Caesar is certainly ambitious. His speeches just before the assassination show a man bloated with pride and a sense of invincibility. He is admant and stubborn.

the 1st reason that Caesar rejects it is because he wants to consider whatever that concerns him last. Caesar does this, not because he really cares for the people, but because he is surrounded by all 'his friends', Brutus, Cinna, and all the others. so he wants to prove that he deserves to be crowned king.

the 2nd is that Caesar believes that he is one of the gods who live in the Olympus. so, he thinks that he is immortal and does not care for his security, so he does not read the letter considering his security as he is full of pride and is full of himself.

no offence rajivel, but ur answer is slightly confusing, Caeser doesn't know that Artemidorus is writing abt Caeser's security. He just knows that its a personal matter.
