| 1.A period of time during which a vehicle, person, or material suspected of carrying a contagious disease is detained at a port of entry under enforced isolation to prevent disease from entering a country.
2.Negative feedback is a cellular process that works in a way that is similar to the manner in which an air conditioner operates: an air conditioner is set to a specific temperature, and the air conditioner shuts off when the surrounding air reaches the set temperature. Negative feedback is part of the homeostatic process through which cells conserve energy by synthesizing products only for their immediate needs.
3.All monkey and human can perceive depth or the relative distance of the object.this is due to simultaneous focusing of an object in both eyes and the image are overlapping giving a three dimensional effect |

| ambili: yeah i'm using Concise Biology...n i dont like this book!! It has more information which is not htere in the syllabus, than what is required!! i have Together with too! you read the whole thing under the Hormonal control, you'll understand... FEEDBACK MECHANISM: Pituitory gland secretes the tropic hormones to regulate the hormonal secretions of other endocrine glands. For example, when it secretes TSH which makes thyroid to secrete thyroxine, pituitory gets a signal from thyroid to stop secreting TSH or to secrete more TSH. This signal is called feedback mechanism. It may be positive feedback or negative. Negative feedback is the signals such as enough, or slow down, which inhibit the secretion of the glands. Hope this went straight to your cerebrum! |

| Our teacher gave the definition of Stereotopic vision- Stereotopic vision is the ability to perceive distance and depth due to the simultaneous focusing of object in both eyes. |

| Negative feedback is part of the homeostatic process offcourse iam not sure any way Stereoscopic vision: when our eyes focusus an image two overlapping image is perceived and our brain perceives a three dimensional figure, which is very clear, this image is called srereoscopic vision |

| the icse definition is" ability of human eye to perceive the relative depth or distance of an object by the eye on the brain giving a 3d effect". learn the definitions which i give by heart. our teacher says that the board is very funny. they give funny, grammatically incorrect defs but if u don't write the same, they cut ur marks |
