| 1. they are the time( 3 sisters ) who worked relntlessly.time is all conquering and most mighty force in the world.time was angry as tith wanted to divert from the usual path of man..so even though they couldnt end him, they crused and destroyed his youth and beauty.
2.he would lieenjoying the sweet warmth of her kisses all over him softer than half opened buds of spring and listening to her passionate whisperings of strange and delightlful sweet words which he could not understand.thith compares the passionate whisperings of eos to sweet songs appolo sang while he charmed the stones to form themselves into the walls of troy.(this line can also be interpretted as appolo sang when troy was burning and the smoke rose into the towwers).so in exam write both..
cheers... |

| To Kanika:
here is the correct answer to the ques u had asked bout tithonus:
1. they are the 3 sisters who are the attendents of Eos who worked relntlessly.time is all conquering and most mighty force in the world.time was angry as tith wanted immortality which only gods were supposed to have and he thus wanted to divert from the usual path of man..so even though they couldnt end him, they crused and destroyed his youth and beauty.(beat him down and marred him and wasted him)using the words from the text is better.
2.he would lie enjoying the sweet warmth of her kisses all over him softer than half opened buds of spring and listening to her passionate whisperings of strange and delightlful sweet words which he could not understand.thith compares the passionate whisperings of eos to sweet and melodious songs which appolo sang. when he sang, the burning troy rose back into walls and towers. ie.the burned things got back into the old forms.
now r u clear with it. actually there are no two interpretations for appolo's song. just this single one. |

| My teacher told me that the city of Troy(Illion) was made out of mist which was converted to stony towers by apollo's (the god of music) sweet song. |
