not heard of it...i have just heard of Bosnian crisis and balkan tension...others plz answer

balkan crisis was that the south Austrian region had dominant Slav ppl...so, they wanted to unite with bosnia-herzegovina and the slavs nation Siberia and form a united south slav nation. so, siberia became a threat to Austria. So, Austria decided to crush the dream of the united slav nation and completely destroy Siberia.

3) danzig was intially under germany during first ww. during second ww, hitler wanted ctrl over danzig, which was given to poland acc to treaty of versailles, because it complained that danzig had many germans and poland was against germans living in danzig . Britain n france assured complete protection of poland from hitler's annexation. Then, soviet union also wanted poland to be a buffer state btw itself n germany. it also thought that if it supported germany then it would also get some states as concession. so, hitler signd nazi soviet non aggression pact. germany thought now, britain n france wont wage war against soviet, so hitler attacked poland on sept 1 1939 then britain declared war against germany on sept 3 .

thanx anu...well i understud d 3rd answer but not d 2nd one..1st of all check it whether it is siberia or serbia...n 2ndly if austria wanted 2 unite wid serbia(as u said)den how come serbia became a threat 2 austria??

siya, austria did not want to unite with serbia...the south slav ppl in south austria wanted to unite with serbia and bosnia herzegovina....austria had ctrl over bosnia-h ..now when all 3 planned to form a new nation, austria didnt like that...well..this is the main cause of the 1ww...even the archduke ferdinand,prince of austria was also killed by the serbian teenager only...there was tension btw austria n serbia from the beginning

bosnian crisis is continuation of the balkan tension....well, bosnia-herzegovina(b-h) was a part of turkey, but it was under the ctrl of austria. so, when the slav wanted to unite with serbia, even turkey got a new sprirt of nationalism n it asked b-h back from austria. serbia came to support turkey...austria waged war against serbia...russia, the country which had most no. of slavs, came to help all slav nation serbia...but germany,the frnd of austria, sent an ultimatum to russia to withdraw from serbia...as russia was not ready for a war, it had to go away...even serbia followed russia...thus, bosnian crisis came to an end...

baltic states are those that border the baltic sea (obviously)
balkan crisis was the crisis that led to hostility between austria-hungary and serbia
first, austria annexed bosnia and herzegovina, then austria freed albania (earlier under ottomans) from serbian possession and made it independent, this led to hostility
