A car and a truck undergo head-on collision. The truck has greater mass and velocity than the car.

1. Which of the two experiences a greater force?
2. Which undergoes a greater change in momentum?

THE FORCE EXPERIENCED BY EACH OF THEM SHOULD BE EQUAL BY NEWTON,S THIRD LAW.

TRUCK HAS GREATER CHANE IN MOMENTUM.

BUT RATE OF CHANGE OF MOMENTUM IS FASTER FOR CAR, SI IT GETS MORE DAMAGED.

well anu 1st ans is wrong ..but the 2nd is correct
1) Both the truck n car will exp same force..accordin to newtons 3rd law..
2)Truck exp greater change in momentum bcoz of greater mass

and quest...car get mor damage due to greatr change in acceleration which is inv prop to the mass..
