See friends i have a problem. See i hav studied from goyal brothers book in eve+ many extra notes given by ma'am . i also have the selfstudy. but i hav heard that beeta publications book contains lot of extra matter like albedo feedback mechanism,earth summit etc. etc. it has full chapters on silent valley but our book has very less matter on it. topics like the kutchch water harvesting etc. are not even mentioned in our book and then there is acid shock etc. all such topics are not there. can anyone tell me what to do?

I am very worried about this.Why is it that we realise our mistakes so late?So what are u doing now in eve & tell me how r u preparing for english literature & language?

beta publications have only given lots o un nessasary points only on somelessons which are given in brief in Goyal & Evergreen , our mam asked us to read evergreen's8,9,10,11,12,13,14chapters properly

hey tell me do u have the latest evergreen? I have it of 2007, in other words last academic session. Actually i was reading this last night and still didn,t find answers to the topic i mentioned above and they have been asked in prelims of many schools. Tell me what to do ans all the important, difficult topics from beeta

BEETA is a very good book
I got the imp chapters xeroxed
so I didn't buy the book
Aftr studying from those chapters I felt that beeta was far more imp
At last I had to buy one !!!!!!!! Very Happy

So debo and siya get hold of some seniors' buk

i have only beeta book...but my maam told beeta n evergreen make a good combination...but, evergreen is not available in any of the shops...so, i have only 1 book and my teacher gave some notes on certain topics from evergreen....thts all ...am gonna read this much....for this only there is no time!!!

be happy with whatever book you have...no book is a waste...so, just cross check with the syll. and tell if you didnt find any topics...we will try to help...btw, lots of topics in eed have been discussed here...take a look at them too....and if u have still more ques, ask us...

but, one thing...its never too late...there are still four more days...dont worry......spend these days in the most profitable manner!! this is my advice based on my experience!! hehe..i wasted this week too much!!! now, u dont waste it!!

btw, i started eed, but i left it...yeah...there are separate chapters for silent valley n all...but remember, the no. of chapters is not important, just learn 6 or 7 points in each, to write in the section two....its more than enough...

deboshree see my my post under eed chapters thread n u will come 2 know wat i have planned for dis damn EVS....n eng lit n eng lang...m just readin all stories n poems again n goin through JC once again...after all dis is finished i l solve some sample papers n previous yrs papers...bas dats all...

Thanks friends but can u all reply to the questions i mentioned in my queries. pls.Someone here mentioned that there is indeed 1 full chapter on silent valley and preparing some pts. is enough but buddy do u know that our book doesn,t even mention the name of the river over which the hydro project was to be built. u see basic things........ our book is not bad but insufficient.cant get hold of someone else's book also.lots of trouble. pls list the important topics and facts . if i know them ,it's fine otherwise i'll ask u people.I ll look at the threads in the forum.Pls have a look in the english language and geography forums. ok
