Salination:-Salination is a local problem caused by bad management of resources.Due to irrigation by canal water logging takes place.Salt starts moving towards upper layer of soil thereby degrading the soil.It leads to decline in agricultural productivity.

Eco efficiency:-competitively priced goods and services that satisfy human needs and bring quality of life while progressively reducing environmental impacts of goods and resource intensity throughout the entire life-cycle to a level at least in line with the Earth's estimated carrying capacity.

nimby syndrome i guess i studied somewhere means not in my backyard syndrome vich means a prson in not concerned about the environment pollution n degradation until it directly effecets him .....!!!

answer(its somewhat this only):

Due to Displacement of people of an area(take, for eg: due to submergence of land due to flooding), the lives of some occupational people,living outside the submerged area, who were dependent on the economy of the submerged area, are also affected. Even they migrate from their habitat in search of jobs. Some of the secondary displacement includes those of the peasants, traders, artisans, landless labourers, etc.
