| 1.the fundamental frequency of string is 196Hz. wat r the frequencies of second and fortth harmonics 2.2 bodies at different temp. T and T' r brought in thermal contact . both the bodies necessarily will attain the mean temp.(T+T')/2. if not.why 3.wat is the effect on n:p ratio when a positron is emitted

| ans: 1. frequency of the 2nd harmonic=196*2=392Hz frequency of the 4th harmonic=196*4=784Hz 2. the only time when mean temp does not equal(T+T')/2 is when there is heat loss to the surroundings. 3.what is n:p ratio?can someone ans this? and also pls confirm whether my 1st two ans are correct or not. |

| i think your first answer is right....but the thing is, these types of sums arent there in the syllabus. second one...only if the mass of the two bodies is same it will be t1+t2/2 n:p is neutron to proton ratio....it will reduce ithink...because positron is emitted only when neutron splits...so when neutron no. reduces the ratio might reduce... i am not sure |
