2.from south west monsoons
5.by nitrogen fixation by leguminous plants and through nitrogeneous fertilizers. Very Happy

2) from SW,NE monsoons, western disturbances and tropical cyclones.

3) coz, durin these months, the apparant movment of the sun is towards the Tropic of Cancer, as in the month of June sun is overhead Tropic of Cancer, thus land gets heated sooner than water, and many dry winds like Loo, and Norwesters start blowing and therefore it is very hot and dry.

4)I never studied industries-mineral based!! as we have lots of choice in the question paper!

i'll guess;
factors: 1) proximity to petroleum refineries-availability of raw materials
2)machinery and labour

Region: May be, western region-mumbai ahemadabad region coz, there are many refineries in tht region-mumbau high, trombay,etc???
