| An optical fiber (or fibre) is a glass or plastic fiber that carries light along its length. An optical fiber is a cylindrical dielectric waveguide that transmits light along its axis, by the process of total internal reflection.
Optical fibers are widely used in fiber-optic communications,and medical science.

| spectrum is not present over there i thing. there on light waves which are used for data transmission purpose only.. light waves are different frequencies and these light waves can be detected by the photo sencers. thanks |
