| Subject: Can someone insolvent go into a casino? Sat Oct 22, 2011 7:30 pm | |
| Hi, tonight I went to my local casino in the uk for a 21st party. I attended this casino approximately 2 times a year and only spend 10 pound gambling for fun.
Tonight on arrival I was unexpectedly not allowed in without talking to a manager. Upon speaking to a manager he stated that thier records show I am insolvent or have been bankrupt in the past (I have never been bankrupt and have always paid all my bills on time). However the manager agreed to let me in (after much debate and embarrassment).
My question is:
1- where would they get this false information from, clearly they have not done a credit check without my permission ( and it would show up clear anyway)
2- why would a casino not let a bankrupt person in anyway, it's not like your asking for credit!!??
3- what steps could I take to clear my name of this false information
4- will this record be across all casinos now - I believe they share information?
