| ya! primary valency is always satisfied by a -ve ion!!! and it is = to the oxidation state of the metal.. secondary valency is = to the coordination number of the metal in the compound |

| yup...its satisfied by another negative or a neutral ligand...! There are some cases where the Negative ion satisfies both the Primary and Secondary valencies..!!! |
