| When we are asked to calculate for ex 4 yr moving average of a given set of data,do we also have to calculate the 4 year centered moving avg ? Pls reply,im bit confused. |

| yes u hav to calculate the 4 yr. centered moving average....as they ask u for years in whole nos...1+2+3+4/4=2.5.......2+3+4+5/4=3.5.....2.5+3.5/2=3yr. ... but in case of 5 yr.centered moving averages...1+2+3+4+5/5=3yr....so thtz how it works... .... hope it helpss. |
