| sorry but u knw, the sine format is like "sin" followed by a variable like "sin x" ... what is that "x" here..? Your question is immersed in ambiguity.! |

| u may use
2sin^2 x = 1 − cos(2x) and cos(2α) = cos2α − sin2α
to simplify the expression to some extent....but ur question seems to b incomplete as in ISc OR icse usually it is asked to prove some expression equal to other...procedure of simplification will vary according to required simplified expression |

| Yes. Abhas is right. There must be some RHS to solve. Only an equation can be solved not an expression. This is currently an expression. What is the RHS part? |
