| 1.green rev created plenty of jobs not only for agricultural worjers bt also for the industrial workers by providing lateral facilities, such as factories and hydroelectric power stations... 2.the conditions of the rural people living in poverty considerably improved 3.Due to excess of income people were able to afford education, health and other basic facilities for their children... 4.deep rooted social evil gradually declined........ |

| hey ty...but didn't the farmers suffer later because the excessive use of fertilizers for the hyv crops damaged the productivity of the farmland and decreased its yield...and also poor farmers were not able to afford intensive irrigation machines and also could not avail of various benefits from the government while the rich farmers could do so, and this resulted in the increasing gap between the rich and the poor farmers? |

| As u and i know, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are the agricultural hubs in the south. After the Green Revolution, modrn techniques came into practice and the use of artificial fertilizers too, which produces a negative impact on the environment. Thus, farmers in Kerala have now discarded the modern methods of farming and have gone 'old school'. They have started following the primitive and traditional methods of agriculture.
They have stopped the use of modern machinery and promoted the use of biological fertilizers and manures etc. They have learnt it the hard way. Now, some villages in the Nilgiri Range in Kerala have started spice farming in the small patches of land that is available to them. They use the sap of chrysantemum tree which is effective in driving away pests.
They have initiated a union of Highland Farmers and they have exclusively set up an 'Organic Farming Zone'. Their movement has set up markets in forign countries for their products. Rightly Kerala is the 'Spice Bowl' of the world.
once again, thank u..!
peace..! |

| they have also set up training institutes and numerous training programs to educate the farmers. Research stations and labs which do analysis on how to 'traditionally' improve the soil and irrigation facilities. The state has also meted out its help to those who has taken the initiative and has given financial benefits. |

| hotspots-the area that r biologically rich and exhibit high specied diversity, most of which are endemic in nature..
genomes-A genome is all of a living thing's genetic material. It is the entire set
of hereditary instructions for building, running, and maintaining an organism,
and passing life on to the next generation.
biomes-Biomes are large geographic regions in many locations with similar kinds of communities and climates.
alleles-Alleles are the different types of genetic material that code for a specific protein - or gene In any one locus (position) in a chromosome, the DNA in that region is the code for a protein - a gene. |
